    Octagon Talent Solutions is seeking an IT Help Desk Assistant for our client in Fort Lauderdale that will perform IT administrative tasks and provide Level 1 technical support to customers

    Responsibilities

    • Vendor management for orders, installations, billing issues, repair tickets, etc.
    • Provision cell phones for employees, including cell phone account administration.
    • Order computers and IT equipment.
    • Manage IT inventory
    • Answer telephone with focus on customer service.
    • Use excellent communication skills to describe issues and set expectations with customers.
    • Demonstrate attention to detail and follow through on projects and requests.
    • Provision copiers and scanners for new locations and contact vendor for service when needed.
    • Work with the helpdesk ticketing system and review open tickets daily.
    • Respond timely to email, phone, and other requests from customers and team members.
    • Reset user passwords.
    • Mobile device support for Apple and Android devices.
    • Microsoft Office 365 support.
    • Perform all other job duties and responsibilities assigned.

    Qualifications

    • BA from a 4-year university OR 1-2 years related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination.
