    Octagon Talent Solutions is in search of a top notch cryptographer with a passion for creating and improving existing privacy protocols! In the past, cryptography was primarily used to protect military, political, financial, law-enforcement, and other confidential data through the use of a key needed unlock encrypted information. Today, digital information is also encrypted. Join one of the most relevant privacy-related tech companies with a global team in the Miami area! You will have an opportunity to write algorithms designed to mask information such as account and credit card numbers and wireless networks in the efforts of protecting its users. 


    • Contribute and explore ways to improve privacy protocol 
    • Improving proof sizes, verification time, removing trusted setup or introducing no fixed denominations or even other privacy mechanisms.
    • Provide advice whenever stakeholders have questions on implementation of cryptography in code.
    • Proofreading blog posts or releases for accuracy on cryptographic portions
    • Have a working understanding of other privacy cryptographic protocols in the efforts of answering questions in an educated manner; Zerocash, Tumblebit, Ring signatures, Mimblewimble, etc).
    • Provide advice on other privacy technology that may assist, such as Dandelion or stealth address mechanisms


    • Specialization in cybersecurity
    • Identify issues that make software vulnerable to hacking and help design solutions, including encryption, to prevent it. 
    • Test software to discover ways to penetrate and access the data.
    • Testing models for accuracy and reliability.
    • Apply mathematical theories to solve problems in various industries, including engineering, business, and science.
    • Analyze and decipher encryption systems as well as develop new encryption algorithms.
    • Develop statistical or mathematical models to analyze data and come up with methods to correct problems.
    • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science or related field; graduate degrees preferred
